Devil Survivor

I only recently watched Persona 4 the spiritual squeal to Devil survivor, they both come from the Shin Megami Tensai  world) and having never played the games i'm still very new to the world but for some reason I am absolutely  in love with it. I really wish I could describe it better but there s something about the way the world is and the way the characters act that makes it feel so wonderfully real despite the setting itself being completely fantastical. It's this feeling of complete immersion combined with the tenseness of the situation and my love of philosophy that makes me want to just keep watching it. Even though I always love seeing that a new episode of an anime i'm following is out it's rare that I get truly excited by it and can't wait to watch it but devil survivor has done it. That down side to this is that I get really annoyed when i'm interrupted when watching it so i have to wait till I know i'm not going to be disturbed.

There is one major problem I have with it though, and that is the opening. In the opening each chracters briefly flashes up one by one, one of these characters died in the very same episode he appeared, and as per my luck he was set to be my favorite. (to avoid spoilers I will be blanking the charter's name highlight the blanks if you want to see it) Keita ,even though he died right of the bat was the sort of character I love (the sort that does give away everything about them selves right at the start)and the fact the he was fleshed out enough for me to know that bugs me it really makes me question why he was killed off, i get that they wanted to create a situation in which Hibiki really felt the cost of the battles and the best way to do that was to give him a friend which dies, but to do it so fast with such a fleshed out character just seems odd especially as he was apparently important enough to appear in the flash by with all the other characters.

In any case I can't wait until I can get a full version of the ending song, for some reason I have greatly preferred the ending songs of this and Persona 4 over the openings.

What is this?

On January 28th 2013 I lost the ability to speak I can whisper, but am unable to speak at a normal volume.  As a result of this i lost my job and am currently trying my best to figure out what jobs i may actually be able to apply for. One of my biggest joys in life is anime, however i know very few people who share my love and none who can match it. So now after 4 months of muteness largely spent indulging in my love i have decided to start sharing my love via the internet.

So far since being mute I have watched:
Persona 4-26 eps
Chihayafuru-45 eps ongoing
Kuroko no Basket-27 eps
Durarara-25 eps
Infinite Stratos-12 eps
School days-14 eps
Gintama-20 eps (Not yet finished)
Mirai nikki-26 eps
Ao No Exorcist-25 eps
Ano Hi Mitta-11 eps
Angel beats-13 eps
History's greatest disciple Kenichi- 28 eps (Not yet finished)
Another-13 eps
Fairy tail-25 eps (Not yet finished)
Working!- 13 eps
Yosuga no Sora-13 eps
Bakuman S1-25 eps
Bakuman S2 -25 eps

During this time i have also kept up with the seasonal anime watching till the end of Sakurasou, Girls Und Panzer, Kotura-san, Boku wa Tomodachi S2, Orseshura, Little busters and Love Live. There was roughly 6 episodes remaining for each anime until the start of the new season with the exception of Love Live which i believe had 7, I have also been watching Cardfight Vangaurd, Hetalia and Naruto which has had around 15 episodes since i lost my voice

I am now currently watching Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Devil Survivor 2, Hataraku Maou-sama, Yahari Ore no Seishun, Photokano, Karneval  Ore no Imouto S2, Nyaruko-san S2, Arata Kangatari and Aiura all of these are now 8 episodes in.

For those that are not good at math this totals up to around 547 episodes of anime in just under 4 months, yes that is a lot even I am surprised seeing that number, but then again considering that fact that i can't even order a sandwich, it makes sense that any sort of outdoors activity would either be rather redundant or dangerous.

Anyway as I previously stated despite watching all these episodes i have no one to talk to about them, so I will be using this blog to vent all of my ideas and thoughts, regardless of whether anyone decides to reads  them I feel it will  help me sleep at night as i will no longer have all of these thought locked up in my head. That being said I more than welcome any questions, arguments or discussion relating to these posts, Just keep it clean ok?
